I woke up very early one morning and had dreamed about this piece of art. I walked into my studio and began creating this piece. I glanced at the clock and the name was apparent it was 3:22 AM.

The inspiration for "Journey" is the journey of a creek, stream and/ or river as it meanders through our landscape. Sometimes encountering man-made obstacles.

Venus Wakes

Venus Wakes was created with the image of a late night sky in the Owens River Valley. The moon was quartering and the reflection on the Eastern Sierra was dripping a vibrant turquoise light upon the towering mountains.
