The sun was setting the water was calm, I had perfect timing. I had been trying to get a sunset photo for what seems like weeks now. There was always some type of poor condition preventing this moment from happening.
I had just spent the entire day creating works of art, then it struck me. The day was ending, there was no wind, no rain nor clouds. I had just been down to the river a few days ago and found it swollen from snow melt and I was tired. I gathered some art together and made the short drive to the rivers edge. With little time to set up I eased the art into the frigid water
Sustainable art, my art is created by using up to 80% recycled materials. I have been using recycled material for the past 15 years.Using found objects and incorporating them into the design draws you into a fluid world

Sage Series 42"x40"
Sage Series is my newest works,I don't know how far this path will take me. Inspiration comes on many levels and forms, mine generally comes from my thoughts. Therefore you have an inside glimpse of what I'm thinking . Inner thoughts expressed in an art medium are intangible to most. They end up dissecting what the artist meant to convey in their work. It is art just for the sake of art. To me it needs just to evoke a feeling or thought from the viewer, Good, bad or indifferent..........

Seldom Seen
As my on going experiences with floating my art I find that it is truly a thing of beauty. When I begin to prepare each piece there is a sense of serenity, all movements seem to be in slow motion. Only the occasional sound of a fish jumping or Kingfisher breaking the stillness of the moment. I cannot believe this is meant for me alone.
