This was a banner day for collecting recycled material. This is the basis of my art which I started 10 years ago. I was green before it was fashionable. It just seemed right to me, all this was going to end up in a landfill somewhere. Now I hope it will adorn someones home once I have turned it into a piece of art. This is Redwood some grand tree was cut down used a decking material and laid on the street for the garbage collector. Such a majestic tree deserves a second chance.
