"About last Night" 38"x50"
"About Last Night"
This piece was created using an old pair of Levi's a friend was about to throw away. I had no idea just how I was going to incorporate them into a work of art, It took several weeks for an idea to form. I found that trying to manipulate them on the base was a little more difficult than I thought it would have been. Being that the jeans were the same size and I wanted a male female appearance to the art, I simply placed the male higher and had the female arch her back and kick her heel up.Love Love Love it

"Seldom Seen" art Tour
Hot Spring in the Owens River valley. I had found several hot springs in this valley some well known others not so well known. This one is very special as it has a wonderful view of Mammoth Mountain as you sit in the pool. I enjoyed this view for 3 hours this day.

"Traveling Guitars"
"Traveling Guitars"33"x48"
This piece was inspired by several places.
My show up at the Strawberry Music Festival, a photo of my former wife playing a guitar and by my love of music and a desire to play guitar.
This was my first art piece of this style and I really enjoyed creating it. I have been told that I at times seem unfocused in my creation of art? Meaning, I guess I create so many different styles of my art. My canned response to such comments is from Picasso.
"All children are artists, The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up"
If you have ever watched a child finger paint you will notice that what the create never looks the same. However each piece is beautiful in it's own way

"Shadows"
"Shadows"I had tried some new techniques while creating "Shadows".
I wanted a slight concave surface to the piece so I weighted the back as I applied my material and let it set up so I had a less than straight surface. I then stood upon the piece so I could create some stress fractures within the art.
"Shadows is the third piece created in these hues and style.

"Life's Run
"Life's Run was created over the past three weeks. There were times when I thought it looked much different than what i had envisioned. This past Sunday I honestly thought it was a complete disaster. It looked like a mud puddle. The colors were flat and I was just dreading the thought I had lost it. There are many elements and techniques that I had used within this piece and for it not to come out was awful. Well all my concerns are now gone this is one of my better works, there is so much depth and interest within the piece. "It is true eye candy"
